Big Marsh
Our primary (and original location) known as Big Marsh sits on 3 acres of fully fenced rural property in a quiet Hamlet that is situated halfway between the communities of Uxbridge and Port Perry, roughly a 7-minute drive in either direction, or 20 minutes north of South Durham (Whitby, Oshawa). It is a private, peaceful location perfectly suited for meeting the needs of our individuals.
MHH believes strongly in ongoing connection with family and a person’s circle of care. Our programs have access to multiple vehicles to ensure travel to and from family is possible regardless of the family’s location.
Big Marsh can support up to 7 individuals, each person has their own extremely large private room that is customised to meet their needs and preferences. We also have multiple common areas and washrooms to accommodate individual and congregate programming.

Enhanced construction – durable, adapted to needs, fully accessible and a modern style.
Plenty of living, recreational, dining and activity space.
Space for meetings and visits in the School House or our Heritage School Building.
